COVID Day 3: I’m Alive, and I’m Live

Taking a break from my usual writing to embark on something completely new to me: going live.

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to my very first Instagram Live, and boy do I like to ramble đŸ˜…

I started sharing about testing positive for the coronavirus through close friends Instagram Stories, and besides all the well wishes, I got so many questions. It struck me how people are so curious, mainly because all we hear are the scary aspects, which then discourage people from getting tested if they suspect they have it.

I decided to go live to share my experiences and answer some of the questions. I hope you find this insightful. I acknowledge I have it very mild and I’m so lucky that way, but it’s not going to be the same for everyone.

Bottomline is, continue to be vigilant in following safety protocols like wearing masks and social distancing. If you suspect you have it, isolate right away or get tested—there are some places that will do it for free.

Feel free to slide into my DMs if you have other questions I didn’t touch on! I’m thinking of doing a text version of this at some point to save you from all 40+ minutes of my rambling (you have been warned).

Disclaimer: I am not a medical professional. My thoughts and recommendations are based on my personal experiences so far, but definitely consult a doctor or a cluster clinic if you feel you may have COVID-19 because it can vary per person. Resources at the bottom of the page.
